Adorable jumper pony looking for a small rider who wants some get-up-and-go.
Ginger is a 12 year old, 13.3hh grade pony with a body that takes up leg well. Jumping is Ginger’s love language. She’s been a lesson pony in a hunter jumper barn, and has been doing beginner up-downs, but is too much horse for our beginners. More go than whoa, but nothing uncontrollable. She’s just forward, motivated, and carries her own motor. She LOVES to jump, and wants a soft, confident rider who wants to get around a course. Ginger is sensitive and will pick up a trot from a quiet cluck, but comes back almost as easily. She loves doing groundwork, and would probably love having her own young (or young at heart) rider who wants to show and experiment with as many adventures as possible.
Has shown locally but not since she’s been with us.
Ginger has done camps, trail rides, and lessons in our program, and has been learning the basics of the AlignmentHORSE method.
Ginger loves to be pampered, and will stand (in the paddock, unhaltered) for as long as you want to groom her. She is probably the sweetest horse in our barn, but just too forward for our littles and beginner adults. Turns out in a mixed herd.
WTC, loads and hauls, ties, stands for vet and farrier, all the things. We haven’t jumped her higher than 2’ because none of our students need her tuned up for that, but she jumps cute and has nice gaits.
